Veteran of two (and a bit) Oppomeets, approx 50,000 miles covered in just under five years. Only needed recovering once with a snapped clutch cable.
Going to a good home from the sound of it, and compared to the usual cheap car deal shenanigans this was probably the easiest car sale I’ve ever had. I will miss it, but I wasn’t using it enough (and with potential job change/move it’s a lot easier to find parking for one car instead of two) . Just got into the habit of using the MR2 all the time, so it mostly sat until I needed to move something a bit bulky .
The car on the transporter is a shell that had been stripped to build a rally car that never got that far along the project car timeline.

If you’re ever thinking of getting rid of the MR2 wheels , could I get a heads up. I just bought my own MR2 a week ago and I’m really not a fan of the wheels. Just too chunky for a light car.

Nice one, looks tidy. I’ve got a couple of sets of the MR2 wheels, but they are the 15” versions- as yours is a facelift it should have 16s on the back. Those are harder to find easily.

I’ve b een so obsessed with the fronts, I completely forgot the r ears are 16s. With the wheels, random missing trim pieces and the broken radio, I've seriously starting to debate finding a parts car. That said being in London and all, I've got no where to put it.
